The Best Toy - According to Chance

Our German Shepherd Chance says that this brand of toys is the best around. When offered a new toy of a different brand or an old half-destroyed goDog toy, he would much prefer the goDog.

We have two 35lb Mini Aussies and a 75lb GSD. One Aussie is a squeaker remover and the other is a stuffing puller. Our GSD is relatively gentle with toys but has one helluva strong "chew." This brand of toys holds up well and the dogs seem to prefer them. I like that the squeakers are difficult to remove, they don't have "hair", and they have limited stuffing, making them safer for the dogs.

These toys have what the company calls "chew guard" to help prevent them from being torn up. Have realistic expectations.. This is a fabric toy. If your dog is a focused chewer, nothing short of Kevlar is going to prevent them from shredding through a toy. In our house these last about a month before they are ready for the trash can. Comparatively, your standard cheap-o $3 supermarket plush toy might last a day or two.
