Tuffy Dog Toys - Sea Creatures Series Construction:

Multiple Layers Tuffy Dog Toys are the most durable toys available. This dog toy is made with one layer of soft fleece, one layer of industrial grade luggage material and one layer of plastic coating in the center.  All three layers are sewn together to make one "Tuff" layer.

Sewn Multiple Times Most dog toys have just one seam to hold the toy together. Tuffy Dog Toys sew webbing around the edges of the toy and then sew the edges together to make each toy Tuff.

Squeaker Safety Pockets Squeakers are sewn into pouches as an added layer of safety.

These toys are machine washable (air dry) and float.

**Tuffy Dog Toys´╗┐ are designed to be play toys NOT chew toys. No part of any dog toy should be ingested. Injury may result. Always be present when your dog is engaged/playing with ANY toy**

My dog loves these toys
My lab, Fletcher, loves this turtle. It's the second one he's had. The first one, he eventually chewed the stuffing out and used to carry around the shell, lol. When I found this one, I knew he'd love it. As soon as I gave it to him, he got so excited and always plays with it.

Lasted a few days
This was the first "tough" toy I purchased for my pit when I adopted him.. He was smaller then, about 45 lbs, and not quite as much of an aggressive chewer.. This lasted him a few days before all of the stuffing was removed. He loved carrying around the turtles' "carcass" for months afterward! He's now moved up to only getting toys that are rated 9 & 10 on the tough scale.

turtle love
Our corgi loves the turtle. He tore up the lobster within 1 day but the turtle has lasted for about a month and still going stong. Our dog likes toys that squeak more but he still loves the turtle and carries it around everywhere.

The run remains long after the stuffing is gone.
Our three dogs are huge fans of the Tuffy toys. My guide dog (half yellow lab and half golden retriever) can usually remove the stuffing within an hour or so, even in the toys rated 10 out of 10. Once she's gotten the stuffing out, the rottie goes for the squeakers, which take even less time. Once all that is left is a carcass, the Irish Wolfhound/Bouvier then plays tugs with the girls for months with what is left. All that said, we've bought Burtle a number of times. Although it is only rated a 7 or 8 (depending upon when we've bought it), for some reason it lasts the longest with its stuffing (3 or 4 days) and there is no squeaker for the rottie to try to swallow. They love to carry to emptied out shell of the turtle around and we only end up replacing it after months of play when only tatters are left. If you expect these toys to last in one piece and you have a serious chewer, you will be disappointed, but if you understand that they provide fun long after the stuffing and squeakers are gone, Tuffy is a go-to choice!

did'nt do the trick
Tough toy? Not so much, my one year old lab rip the head off in an hour, the next morning I woke up to a sea of white stuffing. Not worth the 13 bucks, no better than any other toy

Lasted the longest
My golden retriever has gone through many of these toys - the elephant, pig, lobster, rabbit, spider, and more. Burtle the Turtle for whatever reason lasted the longest, over 1 year! Usually Biscuit tears even the toughest toys apart within 1-2 months...but Burtle was is favorite and it is finally time for a replacement. Well worth the money!

Not as "TUFF" as promsed
I gave my 5 month old pup this turtle and within 15 minutes, she had one of the paws frayed and the eye out. She is an agressive chewer and I haven't found anything that will withstand her teeth, with the exception of a Kong and a golf ball.

Toys are colorful but just don't leave it with the pup for more than 5 minutes at a time as a chew toy.

DogTuff was very good to wok with.
