In less than 5 minutes, the wings and top of the chicken head were tore off and missing. I wish it would have been a little more durable like the description. Our dog is a medium to heavy chewer.

Our Cav lovers this toy. He managed to chew off one of the two ankle trim pieces right away and the other one is about ready to come off now. He still loves playing with it and the rest seems to be holding up very well.

Our puppy has chewed and destroyed every toy we've brought into the house along with some items that weren't toys. This chicken however is the only toy that lasted longer than the first 15 minutes of the toy being in the house. It actually lasted a couple of months, losing pieces bit by bit. So we bought another one along with another toy from the same manufacturer, the "Puppy Tough Ball Pig w/Chew Guard". The pig got destroyed immediately. But the second chicken is holding up as well as the first one did.

My doberman lives to destroy. This toy was no exception, but OMG did he LOVE it. I just threw it out, three legs gone, all noise long gone, but this was his baby. Durable. No, not for a destructive dog.

This was the first plush toy my puppy actually cared about. He loves the multiple squeakers + crinkly areas. A few pieces have gotten chewed off and there is a hole in it but overall fairly durable so far.
