Mighty Dog Toys Cassie The Cow

This toy proved tough enough for my mighty 20 pound power chewer. She was not able to get it open. However, there's a fine layer of "fur" on the stuffed animal that she would rip off and I was afraid she'd eaten. She gave me a couple hacking coughs after playing with it. One of the reasons we switched to Dog Tuff toys is because I know how dangerous fluff can be if eaten. We had to get rid of the cow once I noticed a bald spot appearing. I am ordering another toy in the same toughness level but without the fur coat.

Despite the fact that my 11 month old puppy loved this toy, she had the squeaker removed within the first 30 minutes of giving it to her and the stuffing shortly followed.

My Standard Poodle destroyed this within three days and enjoyed pulling all the stuffing out of the toy. But he has had loads of fun with the empty carcass, which he carried outside and uses to play tug of war with my other dog. I was disappointed that the toy was not very durable, but months later they are still playing with the carcass, so I suppose I got my money's worth.

i bought cassie the cow for my hound mix to play with and hopefully not destroy too quickly given it's 9 durability rating. in a matter of 5 to 10 minutes my dog was able to tear the nose and underbelly stitching and start tearing out the stuffing and the squeeker. not impressed with the double stitching etc that these stuffed animals are suppose to have. i was expecting a bit more for the price.

Cute and more durable than the other plush simon enjoys.
