Tuffy Dog Toys - Ultimate Series Construction:

Seven Rows of Stitching Tuffy Dog Toys can have up to 7 rows of stitching. The number and rows of stitching depend on the shape, size, and style of the toy. Two directions of cross stitching hold the multiple layers together. Rows of stitching hold the webbing around the edge of the material, and the toys' parts are sewn together with up to 3 rows of stitching. When possible, a protective webbing is added around the outer edge and sewn up to 3 more times.

Four Layers of Material Tuffy Dog Toys can have up to 4 layers of material depending on the shape, size, and style of the toy. Our Ultimate series can have up to 2 layers of Luggage grade material. Certain layers of material are coated with a layer of plastic to hold the material fibers together. Finally, we use soft fleece for the outside layer.

Protective webbing For our Ultimate series we add an additional layer of webbing, whenever possible around the outside edge to cover the seams of the toy. This is sewn multiple times, for added durability.

Squeaker Safety Pockets Squeakers are sewn into material pockets inside the toy. This additional layer of safety can give you the time you need to safely remove the toy in the event your dog reaches the core of the toy.

These Tuffy Dog Toys are machine washable (air dry) and float.

Tuffy Dog Toys - Jr. Ultimate Series Construction:

Multiple Layers Tuffy Dog Toys are the most durable toys available. This dog toy is made with one layer of soft fleece, one layer of industrial grade luggage material and one layer of plastic coating in the center.  All three layers are sewn together to make one "Tuff" layer.

Sewn Multiple Times Most dog toys have just one seam to hold the toy together. Tuffy Dog Toys sew webbing around the edges of the toy and then sew the edges together to make each toy Tuff.

Squeaker Safety Pockets Squeakers are sewn into pouches as an added layer of safety.

These toys are machine washable (air dry) and float.

Winter Lifesaver

I bought a Tuffy Flyer for my puppy, Border Colllie mix, to chew on. He is an aggressive chewer, and he started to destroy it in no time. So, ok, not the best for an aggressive chewer.

I put it on the shelf until realizing that its a Flyer, and it flies great. I am calling it my Winter Lifesaver because i live in a snowy area and when the snow came, it was like uh oh, how are we going to exercise the animal. Can't throw the Chuck-it balls in the snow because they disappear. The heavy rubber Kong frisbee also disappears in fresh snow. Enter the Tuffy Flyer. It flies pretty far, and it does not nose-dive and disappear into the snow but lands on top of the snow. We are playing fetch with it almost every day, and after about 30 minutes, the dog has gotten good exercise. And, as we have become more proficient with it, the dog is becoming very skilled at jumping up to grab it out of the air. I think that the light fabric allows it to float a little longer than a regular frisbee. The one thing about the snow is that the Flyer will get wet and heavier, so it loses its floatation after a while. We can still throw it, but it comes down faster when it is wet.. When the snow goes away, the Tuffy will still be flying because it has great flying ability, it will not wear you out as quickly as a heavier flyer and it is easier on the dog's mouth.

Overall good price and cheaper than local pet stores

My 6 year old pitbull mix loves to play with this frisbee. I love that we can use it indoors without the fear of breaking everything. It is durable as long as its not being used a chew toy, otherwise it will likely not last very long.

Stitching

Margot (50 lbs 8 month old Aussiedoodle) loves her toy but the black stitching around the outside lasted for 10 min. She loves the frisbee but I wanted it to last longer.

Great toy

My pitt bull loved it. It lasted longer than any other toy he's had access to. My dog seems to think that his mission is to destroy his toys expecially if they squeak (first thing to be ripped out). :/ I still had to give it 4 stars because it's the strongest toy he's had if this type so far.
