Tuffy Dog Toys - Dinosaur Series Construction:

Seven Rows of Stitching Tuffy Dog Toys can have up to 7 rows of stitching. The number and rows of stitching depends on the shape, size and style of the toy. Two directions of cross stitching hold the multiple layers together. Rows of stitching hold the webbing around the materials edge, and the toys' parts are sewn together with up to 3 rows of stitching. When possible, a protective webbing is added around the outer edge and sewn up to 3 more times.

Four Layers of Material Tuffy Dog Toys can have up to 4 layers of material depending on the shape, size and style of the toy. Our Ultimate series can have up to 2 layers of Luggage grade material. Certain layers of material are coated with a layer of plastic to hold the material fibers together. Finally we use soft fleece for the outside layer.

Protective webbing For our Ultimate series we add an additional layer of webbing, whenever possible around the outside edge to cover the seams of the toy. This is sewn multiple times, for added durability.

Squeaker Safety Pockets Squeakers are sewn into material pockets inside the toy. This additional layer of safety can give you the time you need to safely remove the toy in the event your dog reaches the core of the toy.

These Tuffy Dog Toys are machine washable (air dry) and float.

**Tuffy Dog Toys´╗┐ are designed to be play toys NOT chew toys. No part of any toy should be ingested. Injury may result. Always be present when your dog is engaged/playing with ANY toy**

great, durable so far
This is so far the most durable toy my dog has had. I have a 2 year old Doberman, full of energy, destroys any toy in 5 minutes. I used to hesitate in buying toys for her since none would last and i would spend money on a 5 minute present. I am very happy with this dino and my dog loves it, it's been playing with it for 3 days now and it's intact.

Buying the right size for the dog is key
Piggy (the french/english bulldog - 41 lbs) LOVES Kurklops so we bought a back up for what we thought would be his eventual demise but we still have the original over a year later. I had so much fun wathcing him pummel, chew, toss, and drag Kurklops so I started adding other Tuffy toys. Lulu (the rot/lab - 65 lbs) is only interested in taking the toy from Piggy and walking away. We have purchased T-Rex, 2 Kurklops, 1 Lil Oscar, 1 shark, and a Tuffy toss ring. They have no interest in the ring, the shark was demolished quickly (boy did Piggy love ripping off the fins) and Lil Oscar has held on only because he is less interesting than Kurklops and T-Rex. What we have found is that for very active dogs the closer the size of the toy/dog match, the longer the toy lasts. For dogs that are less destructive you could reasonably have one of smaller toys last many many years.

She loves it!
I bought this for my pit bull hoping she wouldn't shred it within minutes....it lasted about a week before she got through the legs but considering, it's held up okay. It's still intact enough for her to enjoy!

My puppy's best toy!
I bought this for Liza when she was only four months old, she's a long coat German shepherd in training to be my hearing assistance dog. She was totally enthralled by "Dino" and it's remained her favorite toy. It's still fully intact, just a little wear here and there, and she's almost 10 months old. We used to play tug with it, but now she's too strong for me...but not the toy! It's in amazingly good shape. Five stars on this one!

This toy is AWESOME!!!!
I found his toy in a petstore and it was love at first site. The only "plush" toys we will buy for our doberman mix and terrier mix are Tuffys. The $40.00 price tag was a bit steep but after 6 months with two dogs tugging with it and "killing" it the only issue has been that some of the stitching has come undone on the tail. We also love the minimal amount of squeakers so that the dogs can play without driving us crazy!!!! Overall this is our newest Tuffy toy and shows the most damage of all those we own, but to be fair it is the favorite for both our dogs and has received the most play. The tail seems to be the weakest area but I strongly suggest the toy!

I didn't think a toy would ever be TOO tough
My 45lb lab mix loves ripping up toys and nothing has ever lasted more than 5 minutes. I thought the T-rex would be perfect for him and last a bit longer. Unfortunately it's sooo rigid, and doesn't feel plush that the dog really isn't interested in it at all. I can't tell if he doesn't understand it's a toy, or if he knows he can't rip it up easily and is deterred. I think it's a high quality toy, but something is missing for my dog with the 'play' factor.

not yet extinct
After 2 months of owning this toy (our 45 pound hound has 24/7 access to it,) this toy is only missing an arm and is worn at the foot stitching from nibbles but is still full of stuffing and life. He loves to nibble on fabrics at night (his toys distracts him from creating holes in blankets) The average toy get torn apart and is junk with in a day. This also stands up to ruff play during the day. Very happy with these products!
