Tuffy Dog Toys - Zoo Series Construction:

Multiple Layers Tuffy Dog Toys are the most durable toys available. This dog toy is made with one layer of soft fleece, one layer of industrial-grade luggage material, and one layer of plastic coating in the center.  All three layers are sewn together to make one "Tuff" layer.

Sewn Multiple Times Most dog toys have just one seam to hold the toy together. Tuffy Dog Toys sew webbing around the edges of the toy and then sew the edges together to make each toy Tuff.

Squeaker Safety Pockets Squeakers are sewn into pouches as an added layer of safety.

These toys are machine washable (air dry) and float.

Worth every penny

My yellow lab puppy loved this! It lasted for a few weeks! Unfortunately her and I pulled at the same seam and there was stuffing everywhere! Worth every penny though!

Faulty consteuction

Our Bernese split four seams in 2 hours. The seams were very loosely sewn. The tail was also quickly shredded. The giraffe is definitely not tuff enough!

My 4 vizslas love Girard Giraffe

I outlawed stuffed toys for my 4 vizslas. In November 2011 they were given Girard Giraffe. He is the favourite of one dog in particular, and is generally carried around on a daily basis, by the neck. He is the subject of envy, with frequent scuffles over who gets him (not progressing so far as tug - yet). He has been through the washing machine once and his neck is still upright. In his seventh month with my pack, he is still in one piece, with no holes, looking pretty much like the picture. I have been very impressed with him, and have not yet been able to find another Tuffy which stands up to as much as he does. But my god this is expensive! One of the largest toys I've ever owned

Thinking of buying another

We got this as a gift and it lasted longer than any other toy that my English Setter chose to play with. She's a tough chewer capable of putting grooves in extreme kongs within a month or two. This one took her about 7 months before she finally tore an ear off and found out there was stuffing inside -- jackpot!! She's slowly working her way through the body parts now, but it's holding up well. I'm seriously considering just buying a family of them. :)
