Tuffy's Rutabaga The Rabbit

Our dog got through the head of the rabbit in one day. Stuffing and thread everywhere. With a 1 yo crawling around, not the kind of thing you want on the ground.

My dog loves this rabbit. I only buy tuffy toys because she can't rip them apart. I know I'm getting my money's worth buying them.

Larger than the version I got before from Costco. Dog loves it. Dora carries it around in her mouth. She usually destroys toy’s immediately but this is very tough and, except for the ears which got tore off in minutes, it remains intact a month later. The smaller version has no apparent squeaker — which is usually better for keeping toys in one piece. Overall would recommend this larger toy.

I have a Malinois that likes to nibble on toys. We have been through dozens that ate MOST last a week. This one I bought on a whim. I thought nothing would last. Even those advertised for tough chewers didn’t make it sometimes a day, and he likes soft, not hard toys.

I can’t even remember when I bought this. Certainly at least six months ago. A month or two ago he finally nibbled the seams enough to get the ears off, but that’s it. He carries it around proudly and when we say “get your baby,” he runs to grab it. Whenever someone comes over, he greets them with this toy and prances. It’s perfect carrying size for him.

The only reason I’m buying a new one is because he recently lost rutabaga outside. By the time we found it, it had been overnight and rained on, and now he’s hesitant to touch it. I’ll try to wash it but I don’t know if it’s possible.
