A
Dog thinks this toy is great, but Squeak and Sol are AWESOME! I've tried stuffing various balls in the middle to see if this makes a difference - I might try a piece of apple next time

Fun toy
Fun toy for our dog. Takes him a while to get the treats out and that is great.

Best Toy Ever!
My 10 month old puppy LOVES this! I put his kibble in it, cut up apples and treats and it keeps him occupied for long periods of time. He enjoys playing with it even if it's empty. I love that it's not loud when he's rolling and throwing it around. I would get this again in a heartbeat!

Not my favorite, but not too bad either.
My dog is a 40lb bully-breed mix that can destroy a lot of toys - I don't doubt that she would kill this toy too if I left it down all the time and hadn't worked with her to be gentle with it.

However, in this house treat/ food toys are how she gets her all meals and are only put down while she's trying to get out the food (other than frozen, stuffed Kongs but I digress.) The first few times she got to play with this toy, I had keep a close eye on her and warn her when she starts getting too rough with it.... by now I can load it up and throw it down without worrying about her trying to kill it.

I own many different food toys and this one is near the middle of the list and I only use it infrequently.

I like this toy because how easy it is to clean, the soft texture (no thunks against the wall/ furniture), the fact that it is minty, and the added option of cramming one of her balls in the hole to make it more difficult like in the picture.

I personally do not like how fast the payout is for her kibble nor how little it effectively holds (if I try and put one meal in - a cup of her large kibble - the first few 'payout' rolls are ridiculous and it empties very quickly.) Optimally, I really have to fill this toy a few times per use only filling it with 1/3 or 1/4 cup batches - mildly annoying depending on the day.

I'll usually end up grabbing one of her other toys that I can just throw the whole up in, crank up the difficulty, and toss it down while I get ready to leave the house instead of having to babysit this one, unfortunately. I still use it when the mood strikes me as it can be a bit different for her than the usual 'nose-booping' toy by blocking the hole with a ball.

If you are looking for another addition to your treat toy collection, this isn't a bad choice. I do recommend it.

Terrific toy
We have a 8 month old goldendoodle whom we nicknamed the toy terminator. Nothing seems to last more than a few minutes. This toy is squishy and light so I was convinced it was a goner fast. Surprise. It lasted nearly 2 months an all time record. Kept him mentally stimulated and it is quiet when it bounces so doesn't disturb our apartment neighbors. Bravo

Fun, durable and minty fresh!
I have had the opposite experience as another pit bull-owning reviewer. We have a 50+lb female pit that has shredded most every toy put in front of her. Other than the Kongs which she isn't as interested in, this has lasted the longest. We've had two now for weeks and they are totally intact!

She loves that the ball is squishy so she can actually move it and get a "reaction" out of the toy. She'll play with it for some time by herself, even with no treats inside. I love that it always smell like mint, and it doesn't scratchy hardwoods!

Very entertaining, but only for dogs that are nice to their toys.
Not for heavy chewers. My 60# pit bull had a crack torn into it within five minutes. If your dog has better problem solving skills and fewer destructive tendencies than mine, they'll probably love it. My dog pretty much has only one approach, "GO THROUGH IT," and this toy was sadly not up to the challenge.

add kibble doubles the fun
did'nt get this at first, we decided to add the orbee ball medium to the middle with treats. This set our Shepard off, instantly he became determined to separate the toys and find the treats. Not worth it unless you purchase the 3" orbee balls with it. No idea what the dog would do with the toy without it. Adding kibble made this toy.

Highly entertaining toy
Our 65 lb Newfoundland puppy LOVES this toy. It was recommended to us by our obedience class trainer. We put a couple larger size liver treats in it + some smaller ones or kibble. He gets instant satisfaction and positive reinforcement when the smaller ones come out. But the larger ones don't come out as easily so it keeps him working at it. Very soft so it rolls around on the floor but doesn't CLUNK around on the floor. But very tough as well. We have one really large treat in there that never seems to come out so our pup continues to re-engage with it, even if we don't refill it.
