Tuffy Dog Toys Ultimate Construction: Tuffy Dog Toys can have up to 7 rows of stitching. The number and rows of stitching depends on the shape, size and style of the toy. Two directions of cross stitching hold the multiple layers together. Rows of stitching hold the webbing around the materials edge, and the toys' parts are sewn together with up to 3 rows of stitching. When possible, a protective webbing is added around the outer edge and sewn up to 3 more times. Tuffy toys can have up to 4 layers of material depending on the shape, size and style of the toy. Our Ultimate series can have up to 2 layers of Luggage grade material. Certain layers of material are coated with a layer of plastic to hold the material fibers together. Finally we use soft fleece for the outside layer. Protective webbing: For our Ultimate series we add an additional layer of webbing, whenever possible around the outside edge to cover the seams of the toy. This is sewn multiple times, for added durability. Squeaker Safety Pockets: Squeakers are sewn into material pockets inside the toy. This additional layer of safety can give you the time you need to safely remove the toy in the event your dog reaches the core of the toy. These toys are machine washable (air dry) and float.

Excellent toy! We have been through many different kinds of toys from stuffed, to not stuffed, to "virtually indestructible", and the list goes on..searching for one that doesn't get torn apart with the stuffing everywhere within the hour of him playing with it. We were looking for something that had stuffing and squeakers in it because that was his favorite. I came across this brand in a store and saw that it was built to last and figured I would give it a try. He has had that toy for months now and there is only about a quarter size rip in the outside material. We were amazed! I went looking for more of these toys at the local pet store but they didn't have them. I was very pleased to find them on here. I purchased this toy thinking it would be good to tug with. When I received it in the mail it was much bigger than I expected! I was pleasantly surprised. Although the toy is just about as big as he is, he still plays with it and enjoys the squeakers. We have also had this toy for a few months and have been amazed that it is all still in one piece. I would definitely purchase more toys of this brand. They are definitely worth the money! Now, if they could come up with a ball that he won't be able to tear apart that would be even better!
