Tuffy Dog Toys - Sea Creatures Series Construction:
Multiple Layers Tuffy Dog Toys are the most durable toys available. This dog toy is made with one layer of soft fleece, one layer of industrial grade luggage material and one layer of plastic coating in the center. All three layers are sewn together to make one "Tuff" layer.
Sewn Multiple Times Most dog toys have just one seam to hold the toy together. Tuffy Dog Toys sew webbing around the edges of the toy and then sew the edges together to make each toy Tuff.
Squeaker Safety Pockets Squeakers are sewn into pouches as an added layer of safety.
These toys are machine washable (air dry) and float.
**Tuffy Dog Toys are designed to be play toys NOT chew toys. No part of any dog toy should be ingested. Injury may result. Always be present when your dog is engaged/playing with ANY toy**

Great Chew! Review by fantasy45
Price Enjoyment Durability My 2-year-old lab who is a super aggressive chewer has had this toy for about 10 days now. It's still all intact, other than he got a piece of the nose, but just a tiny bit. He loves, I love it! Best chew toy yet I've gotten him for durability! (Posted on 2/24/12)

Amazed it's still in one piece! Review by Big Larry
Price Enjoyment Durability We are fostering-to-adopt a beast of a pit bull named Big Larry. Every toy I have bought him he has destroyed in less than 15 minutes. Some have barely made it out of the store! His goal is to find the weakest spot, rip and pull until he gets an opening to pull the guts out. We've had the shark going on a month! He did get soft stuffing out, the head is a bit opened up, and the fins are pretty shredded, but it's still together! I will be buying Larry the Lobster in his honor! Thank you for making great toys for the tough guys! Jade (Posted on 12/7/11)

Not as tough as it looks Review by Bella
Durability Price Enjoyment My 6month old puppy loved it but she tore the face off in about 15 minutes, I was really hoping it would have lasted a little longer for the price (Posted on 10/2/11)

Not very durable Review by Kona
Price Enjoyment Durability The shark seemed to be a tough dog toy until my six month old 60lbs puppy tore it apart in a day. The weak spot was the mouth of the shark as it tore within hours of play. The fins started to tear off and then the thread starts to come off in long strings. Once it started to become stringy, we took the toy away for safety reasons. My puppy enjoyed it while it lasted, however, we will not a buy another one. (Posted on 8/27/11)

Not as tough as we would have liked Review by husky mix
Price Enjoyment Durability Our 45 lb 1.5 year old husky/saluki mix managed to rip out the stuffing in 45 minutes. He pulled at the jaw and there it all came out. We are disappointed that the shark wasn't as durable as the product was advertised. However, he really enjoyed the toy from the minute we gave it to him. Unfortunately, he would eat the stuffing if we allowed him to continue to play with it. (Posted on 7/24/11)

Best Fabric Toy!!! Review by Leader of the Pack
Durability Price Enjoyment Our 45 pound hound mix LOVES his shark! It is now 5 months old and it still looks like a toy even with 24/7 access to it! He enjoys all fabric toys but has a habit of nibbling on them at night, so by the morning no toy has extremities and of course stuffing is everywhere, but this toy's damage is minimal. He chewed off some fins, 1 puncture in tip of nose, and worn stitching from nibbles yet It still stands up to tug-of-war play. A must have for dogs who prefer plush toys. (Posted on 2/26/11)

AWESOME!! Review by Sara AKA Kujo
Price Enjoyment Durability Our pit bull mix will systematically bite holes in her toys, suck the inards out, play with the squeeker till it dies, then take the stuffing and toss it all over the house, while the gentle chesepeake watches in amazement. The shark has left her exhausted! We have had it since thanksgiving, there is a small hole in the fin but she can't get it open. It is now her new best friend that she brings to bed with her every night!!! Thank you! (Posted on 1/23/11)

Bought a new one Review by Casper
Price Enjoyment Durability This toy lasted the longest with my pitbull who can crush ordinary toys within a day if not a half hour or less. I've had the shark for probably 3 months. He has no fins left. The squeeker is dead but still in the body of the shark. He still has all his stuffing and no holes in him yet. It's Christmas and I'm getting a new one to start all over again. Lives up to its name Review by Tigress
Enjoyment Durability Price So I have a dog that doesn't just play rough with her soft toys, she makes it her goal to destroy them. Every single soft toy I've gotten her she cuts (not rips) open within a minute (she takes her back teeth and uses them like scissors). Which makes me sad cause dogs are so cute with soft toys (so every now and then I try one that claims it is tough though I know I'm fooling myself).
Except this toy. This toy lasted about 2 months before she made a small hole (which she hasn't been able to make bigger). She also managed to cut the teeth about a millimeter after minutes of very intensley trying to scissor them.
I just bought her the lion and it seems to be holding up as well (and she loves it).
Highly recommend this toy. I still can't believe she hasn't been able to destroy it yet. (Posted on 11/28/10) -

still have it! Review by heather
Price Enjoyment Durability My lab mix loves to chew and I have found that this brand holds up very well compared to other stuffed toys. In fact, Star can only have this brand. Although she eventually can open up this toy, it lasts for months. (Posted on 8/19/10)

Not so Tuff Review by snowstorm
Durability Price Enjoyment My 2 Golden Retrievers had a wonderful time chewing a hole on the underside in order to get the squeaker out. It took them about 2 minutes from start to finish with them tag-teaming. However, this is the only toy from "Tuff" toys that they have been able to get apart. (Posted on 8/13/10)
