Tuffy Dog Toys - Barnyard Series Construction:

Multiple Layers Tuffy Dog Toys are the most durable toys available. This dog toy is made with one layer of soft fleece, one layer of industrial grade luggage material and one layer of plastic coating in the center.  All three layers are sewn together to make one "Tuff" layer.

Sewn Multiple Times Most dog toys have just one seam to hold the toy together. Tuffy Dog Toys sew webbing around the edges of the toy and then sew the edges together to make each toy Tuff.

Squeaker Safety Pockets Squeakers are sewn into pouches as an added layer of safety.

These toys are machine washable (air dry) and float.

**Tuffy Dog Toys are designed to be play toys NOT chew toys. No part of any dog toy should be ingested. Injury may result. Always be present when your dog is engaged/playing with ANY toy**

One Tough Bunny
Great toy, very durable. The only complaint is the squeaker is a little hard to squeak because the toy is so tough. Take the good with the bad I guess.

She is a super chewer!
My Springer Spaniel loves the rabbit; however, she has mostly destroyed it. First she breached the fabric, then she pulled all the stuffing out. But, she still enjoys

Not Super Tough, but Loved!
Within 15 minutes the white stuffing was being pulled from this bunny's nose ... but Dexter (my Great Dane) is quite an aggressive chewer. I haven't found anything that "lasts", but I had high hopes for this one. He still seems to like him ... and I think once I pull out the rest of the stuffing, he'll still enjoy chewing on the carcass anyway. :)

Great, but the ears came off
My dog instantly loved this toy! I consistently buy this brand because she is a very aggressive chewer, and nothing else lasts as long as these toys. The ears on this rabbit aren't very strong, however. They came off completely in about 2 days and she was pulling the stuffing out through the hole. After I took out the rest and cut the shreds off, the toy became safe again. I would recommend this toy to anyone who doesn't mind having their dog play with something that looks like its brains were emptied through the top of its head. Lucy doesn't seem to mind! :)

Not Indestructible
Buy reading this I thought it was indestructible, but its not. I bought this for my 1 year old GSD's birthday, and it lasted about 15 minutes before the stuffing was coming out all over my floor. In the rabbits defense she destoys everything with a few exceptions.

Should not be rated 9 on the tuff scale
Within a couple of hours of playing tug of war and fetch with my 14 lb. Shih Tzu, the stitching on the head around the ears had come loose and the rabbit was no longer safe for play. He has had other Tuffy toys that have lasted through weeks and sometimes months of his chewing and playing, I was really disappointed with this toy. It should have lasted longer with a rating of 9.

Good purchase
Very durable. We had had it for 2 weeks and my lab has managed to only get a small piece of the ear off. The squeaker is hard for him to find and squeak. It is located between the rear legs. odd.

Not as durable as I had hoped
My dog has the shark of this brand and loves it! It lasts for a long time even though she's a chewer. The rabbit has not fared as well, the stuffing is already coming out from the seams. I'm not sure what the difference is, but I'll just keep buying the shark from now on!

Not THE best but right up there. Good choice for tough dogs
Still surviving my Irish Wolfhound puppys chewing and carrying everywhere although I must say the front feet took only a few minutes of chewing before they came apart and stuffing started appearing. Since my dogs only have toys while supervised I was able to quickly put an end to the worst of the destructive chewing and Rutabaga still remains Minnie's favorite.

Nonchalant
I just had to respond to the smug non-owner of a corgi. I have a corgi mutt now, have owned/fostered everything from an american bulldog to a husky; no dog has been a more prolific chewer than the corgi mutt. Things that are sold as durable are simply no match. Have only found one toy she can't destroy (she's taken some limbs off but never got the heart/squeaky) and it wasn't made by this company.

I have a TuffDog chewer.
My year old vizsla LOVED THIS RABBIT! But has chewed off his's front leg.. The stuffing oozed out. I tried my best to sew the leg.....minus the stuffing since she truly enjoys playing with it. I hope that's the only amputation.

Ears go in 10 min
i've been looking for a toy that my Dachshund wouldn't tear up in a few minutes. I ran across the Tuffy dog toys and figured I'd give it a try. I purchased the rabbit given that it was a 9 on the toughness scale. Well it took Tobie 15min to tear the first ear off, another 10 min to get the second ear off, another 10 and the squeaker was dead

Pretty tough but not indestructible
We have more than a dozen Tuffy toys for our corgi, who is a power chewer. The shark, starfish, rings, bone, and boomerang have all proven indestructible. (We've had the rings and bone since we got her over 3 years ago-not a single hole). We've had the rabbit about 9 months. The ears are almost gone, shredded to pieces, but not a bit of stuffing has come out. I am buying her another one because she loves it so much. I had bought her a different barnyard animal (I think the pig?) and she tore it apart within an hour. The rabbit has held up well for such a strong chewer.

tuff enough
My dogs were toy destroyers and yet love to play so I decided to give this one a try. Not only do they love it and play with it everyday but after two weeks it still looks like new. This thing is tough! I have several other Tuffy toys ordered. They might cost more initially but are a bargain in the long run.

A Tough Toy
Purchased this and the Kong Boomerang. The ears on the rabbit are easily chewed off. The body is tough even against Garrisons' back jaw. Adorable toy and great for rough play.
