My Golden chewed the outer seam off very quickly and managed to get the squeaker out and some stuffing. I was in the kitchen with her the whole time putting groceries away when she did this. I was told I should have purchased a bigger toy for her size but I am wary of shelling out the cash for them when she will destroy them in a flash. I guess this is more of a toss and play toy than something she can play with on her own. I would definitely supervise your dog when playing with this item. I guess the only thing she won't destroy would be a rock. Good luck! (Posted on 11/6/11)

In reading some fo the other reviews I had chill bumps, to even think a dog owner would ever leave there dog alone with any toy is just sad. This ring has outlasted all plush toys my Germans have ever had. It's soft and even survied the washing machine. (Posted on 9/5/11)

I have two pitbulls who love to chew, and these are the best toys that I have found that are not destroyed instantly. While they never last more than about an hour before the first squeaker and stuffing are removed, they can play for a few days with the outer part once all the squeakers and stuffing are removed. I bought this this "Mega Ring Tiger" for my daughter's 60 lb black lab. He has in the past pulled the stuffing out of other supposedly durable toys but I thought this would be the one toy to stop him-it was tiger tested after all! I brought it with me to Austin, Texas for our visit. By the next day he had put a hole in it, stuffing was coming out and we had to remove a squeaker. It says this toy is "Built to Last" but how long is that? What good is a toy that you can 't leave with your dog unsupervised if it is suppose to be the "world's most durable soft dog toy" What kind of tiger tested this toy? Did it have teeth. I was very disappointed that I spent $25 on a toy that was classified #10 "Mega Tuff-the tuffest" After all he is only a black lab! How do you make your dog know it is a play toy and not a chew toy?? How annoying to have to watch them every minute with this toy. I was disappointed. (Posted on 6/22/11)

I bought this ring at the local pet store because it was ranked as extremely durable and would last a long time. That was SO not the case for my black lap/pit bull mix. He tour that thing up as fast as he could! Don't get me wrong he had a blast with it while he was ripping it up! But not worth my money. (Posted on 5/17/11)

I have a lab puppy and he loves to chew. He had the binding chewed off within 10 minutes. A month later and I still have the shredded tatters of this toy. This has lasted far longer than any toy we have ever purchased. I am purchasing another one and maybe this will last as long. Will he ever stop chewing? (Posted on 2/26/11)

Pricey toy. My Boston Terror (terrier) is a chewer. He can tear through this toy in a few months. That is a durable toy in our house! He LOVES it. Once he got a hole in it, he begin to dig out the stuffing. I simply removed all of the stuffing and he continues to love it. I think the toy shouldn't have stuffing or that braided border - it might would last longer. (Posted on 2/10/11)

So I bought one of these rings at the store today and about 30 minutes after I got home my dog already has the inside seam and the outside seam already ripped and coming off. I've had another one of these toys before and it took her 8 months before she was able to put a hole in it, so I thought another would be great. Well either I got a badly made one this time or they truly aren't as tough as you think they are. By the way I have a PUGGLE!! lol Who would of thought that my sweet tiny little dog would be more of a power chewer than our Great Dane was!!! (Posted on 12/22/10)
