I have 2 pits and they loved them. Chewed them non stop. I would say they are not as durable as a kong, but my dogs liked them way better. Price would be great if they lasted more than about a month. I will buy them again though. (Posted on 3/5/12)

This is the first chew that my dog hasn't destroyed in the first 30 minutes of receiving it. The only other chew is a sterile bone that make a lot of noise when dropped on the floor not to mention dents in the floor. My Great Pyrenees loves to chew all day and this Hurley is a life saver.( not to mention rug and furniture saver). She has had it for 3 weeks and it still looks like new. It's also nice because we can throw it in the house and play fetch. Going to be ordering the tux and Huck. Love the Hurley

I bought this toy for my Cattle Dog/Bull Terrier mix who was a reluctant fetcher, and I needed a toy that I could get her jazzed about with fetching, use only for fetching, and that would also float because she loves to swim.
This toy has surpassed my expectations! Not only has the hurley helped me with teaching her to fetch, it has also helped her to open up to playing with other toys as well. I was not even looking for something durable, and this toy is VERY durable, as my Belgian Malinois can try his best to destroy it and doesn't even leave a mark on it! By the way, he can tear up a black kong, though he likes to play with and gnaw on the hurley more than he does a kong by far. My other Cattle Dog loves this toy too. Maybe I need to get more :)

Kong is a waste of money and even the nylabones don't survive a day in bricks house. The Hurley is a whole other story 3 weeks for her to chew through the middle. Great toy for the super aggressive chewers. Just Returned for replacement. Very pleased! (Posted on 6/22/11)
